Google Drive
Is your phone regularly running out of storage space? It's a common problem for many people, but with Google Drive, you'll never have to look at that annoying "low on file space" notification again. Google Drive, a key component of the Google Workspace subscription service, is a free productivity app that allows you to back up, access, and manage all of your cherished files and documents. Most mobile devices offer a limited amount of storage space, and between music files, text messages, photos, and business documents, it's ]easy to burn through it. With Google Drive, not only can you stop slowing your phone down with excessive data, but you can also ensure that your files are always safe.
Product Features
Even without being a Google Workspace subscriber, you can use the free Google Drive app to store up to 15 gigabytes (GB) of files. Once your data is stored, you can quickly access it at any time from any linked device. You'll also have the ability to search for specific files by name or content and quickly access your recently viewed files with almost no effort.
If you like, you can conveniently share your stored files with friends, family, or business associates, regardless of whether or not they have a Google account. The app will generate a secret link to the file or folder you want to share. All you have to do is set permissions for who's allowed to view it, and then email or message the link to the other party. Alternatively, if you want any of your data to be publicly available, you can set it to "public on the web." That way, it will be accessible through search engines and viewable by anyone who comes across it.
Another nice thing about Google Drive is that you don't even need to be connected to the internet to view your stored files. If you're on the go or keeping your phone on airplane mode, you'll still be able to access and manage all of your files. Google Drive also doubles as a scanner; by using your device's camera, you can scan physical documents and upload them through the app in no time.
If you're a Google Workspace subscriber, you'll have access to several extra handy Google Drive features. For one, you'll automatically have an additional 15 GB of storage space just for being subscribed to the service. Plus, if you need to, you can always pay a higher monthly fee to unlock even more room for your data; the most expensive plan comes with a whopping 30 terabytes (TB) of space.
As a subscriber, you can also share files and folders directly with groups or teams within your business organization. If you're working collaboratively with multiple people, you'll even have the option to
